The redevelopment of Royston Hospital has commenced with Alexanders Construction PL being awarded the construction contract on 16 January 2019.
Construction will occur over a 12 month period and will include two new operating theatres, an expanded post anaesthesia care unit, modern admissions area, improved medical imaging facilities and a redesigned reception and main entrance.
Our new hospital will offer patients faster access to important procedures and provide the opportunity to increase the range of specialties services on offer.
The expansion will provide flexibility into the future and the capacity to cope with increased patient volumes.
This significant upgrade to our facility represents a major boost to the region’s only full service private surgical hospital which has proudly provided an elective surgery option to the Hawke’s Bay community since 1921.
