Training: Mr Moot completed his fellowship in General Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2004. After a year of research at the Department of Surgery of the Otago School of Medicine in Christchurch he moved to the UK in 2006 to take up a position of Senior Colorectal Fellow at the Royal London Hospital. A second year as Senior Colorectal Fellow was completed at Addenbrookes University Hospital in Cambridge in 2007.
